Hours of operation are subject to
occasional changes and special hours. Please call ahead (905-662-2691) to
ensure the museum is not operating under special hours the day of your
visit.
January 2008 - March 2008 (Winter Hours)
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, and by appointment. Please
call.
April 8, 2008- December
24, 2008 (Regular Hours)
Wednesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday Evening, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, including holiday Mondays.
Closed Thanksgiving Sunday
Closed Christmas Day to New Year's Day
Closed Easter Weekend
Group tours and educational programming available
year-round.
Directions:
The Erland Lee Museum is located at the corner of Ridge Road and
the top of Dewitt Rd. Take Exit 83 from the QEW and head south towards
the Niagara Escarpment. Follow the blue signs. Go right at Highway 8
(Fruitland Cemetery is on the corner), then left at Dewitt Rd. (first set
of traffic lights after you turn the corner). Go to the top of the hill
and the historic site is right in front of you.

Admission includes tour of Museum and use of grounds
for picnic lunches, etc.
Ontario Museum Association individual members (with card) receive free
admission. Discount admission rates are available to groups of 20 or
more. Please call for details.
The museum's 1.9 acres of gardens are available
as public picnic facility throughout the year.
Our full-service washrooms are open seasonally
from April - December.
Gift Shop:
Please also visit the Gift Shop for Erland Lee Museum, Women's
Institutes, and Stoney Creek souvenirs, plus the always-changing
selection of preserves and crafts donated by Ontario Women's Institutes
members.
The Museum has ample free parking. Buses welcome.
Group Events:
Looking for a heritage setting for your group function or
wedding pictures? Why not consider the Erland Lee Museum for a scenic
backdrop to your event?
The Erland Lee Museum has facilities for hall rentals up to 50
people seated and 60 people standing. It has picnic tables for outdoor
bookings for up to 60 people.
Hall rentals
$100 Weekday Monday to Friday during regular museum hours
(between 8 am – 4 pm)
$150 Monday-Thursday, outside museum hours (e.g.-
evenings) or Saturday/Sunday during regular museum hours.
$200 Friday night, Saturday or Sunday, outside museum hours
(e.g-evening).
Discounts available for registered charities and not-for-profit
groups.

Dishes and utensils are also available. The museum volunteers
can provide catered meals to pre-booked events. Please call for more information.
Costs range between $13-18 per person and include an optional museum
tour.
The museum does offer certain historical rooms for wedding
pictures for a modest donation ($25).

We also do historically-themed birthday parties- $3.00 per
child. Minimum fee of $20.
There is limited availability for camping to accredited groups.
$4.00 per camper.
Parties wishing to serve alcohol MUST provide their own
special-event liquor permit at their own expense.
